מאד מפתיע בהתחשב שחוץ מווילסון כל חברי הלהקה הם ישראלים

חבל שהאלבום יוצא כזה קרוב להופעה.
עמדתי להזמין אותו באתר שלהם אבל אז הקשבתי לקליפים מתוכו... די מאכזב. קודם כל הם לא נרגעו עם הקטע שכל הפקה ישראלית, ובייחוד אביב גפן, חולה בו, של לשים כלי מיתר בכל מקום בתור מילוי ברקע. אביב גפן עושה את זה בכל שיר, וממש נמאס כבר!
שנית, באופן כללי, לא נשמע כאילו ההרכב הזה הולך לאנשהו, מתקדם, עושה דברים חדשים....
אני אבוא להופעה ואשמע את החומר החדש שם ואז נראה.

I had a surprisingly good time at the Blackfield show yesterday.

Rudess opened for about 45 minutes and was awesome as usual. Highlight were acoustic Even Less with Steven Wilson and piano version of Spirit Carries On

Then BF came up, I didn't know any BF song before but I actually had a great time. I also didn't know they do End of the World and Cloudy Now in English... I was soo back in highschool when they played that. Rudess joined for Cloudy Now in the encore.
It was a small theater, maybe 1000 people but they were amazingly great crowd, always loud. BF has some great core fans.

I came there because of Rudess but I thoroughly enjoyed Blackfield!

I wish i had the same chance as you had to enjoy BF as a new listener.
But after two very good albums i think that the new one is made just for the sake of releasing new album.

P.S,
Great setlist, i wish i'll see Epidemic (or "מגיפה) in live someday. One of the best song Aviv Geffen ever wrote.
