ג'ון ג'ואיט מצטרף שוב ל- Arena אחרי שהבסיסט הנהדר איאן סלמון עזב. ג'ואיט יופיע באלבום החדש שהלהקה תוציא ויופיע איתם החל מיוני.

ככה ככה האחרון של פנדרגון? אלבום מצוין. אני אראה אותם עוד חודש וחצי בהופעה שוב :-)

האמת היא שבהופעה של 2009 התאכזבתי אבל בהופעה שלהם לפני חודש ממש ממש נהניתי, הסטליסט היה פצצה וגם הביצועים טובים יותר בהרבה.

ההבדל היחיד הוא שג'ואיט לא מיליונר כמו פורטנוי ואם הוא עוזב אז זה בטח לא בגלל כסף כי לכל חברי iQ יש עבודות רגילות שהם מתפרנסים מהם, מהמוסיקה שלהם הם בעיקר נהנים וכמובן שמענגים אותנו המאזינים.

טוב, הייתי בהופעה, ואכתוב הערב או מחר מתישהו סקירה קצרצרה. בגדול לא התלהבתי ממש מהסטליסט , כי היו כמה שירים שהם עשו בהופעת הכריסמס הקודמת שלהם שיצא לי לראות ב-2006, וציפיתי לראות קצת גיוון והסט ב-2006 היה לטעמי טוב יותר. היו גם לא מעט פישולים בהופעה (אפרט בסקירה).

אגב כתבתי תגובה על הסקירה שלהם ושאלתי איך יכול להיות ששכחו לציין את העזיבה של אורפורד. כנראה שלא היה נעים להם לשמוע את זה, אז הם מחקו לי את התגובה.

חובבנות לשמה הסקירה הזאת, מלאת קלישאות והכי גרוע חסרה את הפרט הכי חשוב: מרטין אורפורד, מקים הלהקה וכותב החומר העיקרי בה, עזב. מי שכתב את הסקירה פשוט לא עשה שיעורי בית וכנראה לא מכיר את הלהקה מספיק טוב. בכלל יש לי אישית הרגשה שמאז שאני לא כותב שם, ז'אנר הפרוג פשוט מקבל זלזול מתמשך, פרט להברקות מדי פעם של עדי כהן שגם לא כותבת הרבה. על ריברסייד הם פרסמו סקירה יותר מ-4.5 חודשים אחרי יציאת האלבום, כנ"ל לגבי IQ.

גם טוב !

אני בהחלט מפנטז על כך. בהופעה הקודמת שלהם שהייתי הם ביצעו את Sacred Sound.
